Admission to the D.El.Ed. course is conducted as per the guidelines prescribed by the competent authority. Candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of 50 percent marks, with a relaxation of 5 percent for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Other Backward Class Disabled Freedom Fighter Dependent and Ex Serviceman categories. The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 35 years. A general relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates, while disabled candidates are eligible for a relaxation of up to 15 years. In the case of ex servicemen, the age after deducting the total years of service from the actual age should not exceed the prescribed age limit by more than 3 years. The merit list is prepared by the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj based on the combined percentage of marks obtained in the high school intermediate and graduation examinations as submitted by the candidate in the online application form.
