The B. Des (Hons) in Fashion Design at Future University, delivered in academic collaboration with Cosmic Creative Academy, Mumbai, is designed for students who wish to build a career in fashion industry. The program combines design skills, textile knowledge, garment making, digital tools and understanding of the global fashion market. At Future University, admission to the B.Des (Hons) in Fashion Design Programme is conducted through a structured, transparent, and merit based process designed to identify creative, passionate, and talented design aspirants.
The university follows a fair and competitive selection system that provides equal opportunity to all eligible candidates who wish to pursue a career in fashion design and the creative industry.
Admissions are offered through one or more of the following routes:
Admission may be granted on the basis of performance in the 10 + 2 qualifying examination from a recognized board.
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university.
A merit list is prepared according to university norms and admission is offered to candidates based on their academic performance. This route is applicable for selected seats in the programme.
Future University also conducts its own entrance examination known as FUCET (Future University Common Entrance Test) for admission to various programmes including B.Des (Hons) in Fashion Design.
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance test which may evaluate creativity, design aptitude, and analytical ability.
The final selection process may include counseling and document verification conducted by the university before confirming admission.
