Future University Hosts Capacity Building Workshop on OBE Implementation and Attainment Analysis

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, along with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organised a Capacity Building Workshop on Outcome Based Education (OBE) Implementation and Attainment Analysis on 29th July 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Future Institute of Pharmacy, Future University, Bareilly. The workshop aimed to help faculty members get a clearer, more practical understanding of OBE and how it can be applied effectively within the academic setup.

Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajendra Sinha attended as Chief Guest and inaugurated the event with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. In his address, he spoke about why outcome based education matters for institutions today, and encouraged the faculty to adopt it not just as a formality but as a genuine tool for improving learning outcomes.

Faculty members from all departments of the university attended the workshop, reflecting the institution's collective commitment to strengthening outcome based education across disciplines.

The workshop was divided into two technical sessions. In the first, Dr. R.K. Sharma, Director, IQAC, walked participants through the finer details of OBE, breaking down concepts that often get overlooked in routine discussions. The second session was led by Dr. Jatin Jaiswal, who focused on Attainment Analysis, explaining how faculty can measure and track student learning outcomes more effectively.

Dr. Hemendra Gautam, Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, closed the event with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the Vice Chancellor, the resource persons, and everyone who took part in making the workshop a success.
