About the Anti-Ragging Committee
The Anti-Ragging Committee is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all students. Ragging is strictly prohibited on campus, and any reported cases will be dealt with seriously as per UGC regulations. The committee actively works towards preventing, monitoring, and addressing any instances of ragging.
Objectives:
- Ensure a ragging-free campus environment.
- Address complaints and take strict disciplinary action.
- Spread awareness about the consequences of ragging.
- Provide students with a safe channel to report concerns.

Report an Incident:
If you witness or experience any act of ragging, please report it immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee. Contact the committee via the official university website or email.

What can I report?

- Your grievance will be reviewed and acknowledged within 24 hours
- A designated officer will investigate and respond to your grievance within 5 working days

- You can choose to remain anonymous, but please note that this may limit our ability to investigate and respond to your grievance

Duties and Responsibilities of the Committee

Supervise and ensure the implementation of anti-ragging measures across the campus.

Monitor the activities of Anti-Ragging Squads and Cells for effective control and intervention.

Receive, review, and take prompt disciplinary action on complaints of ragging.

Organize awareness and sensitization programs to prevent ragging.

Ensure full compliance with UGC regulations and timely submission of reports on the UGC Anti-Ragging Portal.
Important Guidelines

A separate Anti-Ragging Squad must be constituted to carry out surprise inspections and ensure real-time intervention wherever necessary.

It is mandatory for every student and their parent/guardian to submit duly signed affidavits at the time of admission, affirming that they will neither participate in nor tolerate any act of ragging.
This order comes into immediate effect and will remain valid unless otherwise modified or replaced and is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
All concerned are requested to extend their full cooperation and support to the Anti-Ragging Committee in the discharge of its responsibilities.
